My name is Cheryl, and I am an Administrative Specialist. I help smart, savvy Business Professionals kick it in high gear, allowing my clients to focus on business, while I handle the administrative tasks.
I know that when you are running a busy, successful business (or working towards that goal), the help you need isn’t just with the what you do for a living, but with the associated administrative tasks that keep your business up and running. The same tasks that seem to keep you away from the very thing you are in business to do!
I help with the administrative minutia so you can get out from under the paperwork and have more time for your clients, customers, family …and hey! Here’s an idea: TIME FOR YOURSELF!
I was born and raised in Sunny San Diego, in Southern California. I think I should have been raised on a farm but instead I was raised in the middle of the big city. I’ve raised rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds, fish, dogs and cats nearly all my life. Horses, goats and chickens (at my own home) are still on my to-do list.
I took a series of clerical jobs and sort of fell into the role of Administrative Assistant. I did that for a number of years but was not satisfied. I knew I had much more to offer, but was seldom challenged and even less often valued for what I did. Independent thought or out-of-the-box thinking got me into more than a little trouble in brick and mortar businesses.
My good friend Sandy encouraged me to look into this new thing called “Virtual Assistance”. I knew it was something I really wanted to do, but I wasn’t yet ready to step into the shoes of an entrepreneur.
It wasn’t until after Sandy’s death and a series of jobs where I was under-paid and grossly unappreciated that I decided to step out on my own and start my own business.
In 2011 I moved to Hemet, California (about 90 miles north of San Diego, and East of Orange County) to be closer to my parents who had moved here in 2000.X
At that time I opened The Equine Admin to cater to the Horse World and help folks “Get Out of the Office, and Back to the Barn”.
But non-horse people have asked to work with me, so I created this site to make my services available to those not in the horse world. Please look around the site to see how I can help you with your business. And don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all!
